How We Started-1998 |
| |
After many years of experience in the telecommunications
industry, Alan Crafton decided
to start his own site acquisition firm in 1998—so Crafton
Communications was formed in Birmingham, AL.
Mr. Crafton applied his extensive knowledge and years of experience
in the site acquisition business to start the first part of
the Crafton Group family of companies.

Growing & Expanding-2000 |

2000 was a great year for the Crafton
Group. Crafton Communications
evolved into providing tower construction services with the
goal of being a complete turn-key provider of cell tower services
within the industry. Our tower construction
services perfectly complement our site
acquisition services to better serve our clients’
needs and provide a full-service, turn-key advantage to carriers
and tower owners. |

Our Present Growth-2007 |

From the Group’s inception in 1998, we
have experienced extensive growth which has accelerated over
the past year. Due to our ever-expanding client base and
employee roster, we are building a new corporate office in Birmingham,
providing a larger corporate facility, with a spacious work
area for our equipment and crews. Because our scope of
work and services offered have grown into various areas of
the market, we have expanded beyond the Birmingham
area, with offices now in Huntsville, AL and
Dallas, TX. We are currently working on projects
& sites all throughout the Southeast and Southwest. We look to continue
down this path of growth by keeping our strong relationships
with current clients and building new partnerships with future
customers as well. |
